Sunday Night game week 14
This week, the Dallas Cowboys put their over-attentive selves back in front of the prime time cameras at home against the New York Giants. New York opened with Jason Pierre-Paul sacking Tony Romo for a safety. The Giants added on when Lawrence Tynes booted a 23 yard field goal. Dallas got on the board when Romo tossed a 12 yard touchdown pass to John Phillips, and Dan Bailey was there with the extra point. New York got the lead back with a Brandon Jacobs touchdown run of 1 yard in the second quarter, and Tynes supplied the extra point. The Cowboys regained the lead with Romo's 9 yard touchdown pass to Laurent Robinson, and another Bailey extra point. The Giants retook the lead again when Tynes nailed a 26 yard field goal. Dallas went up 17-15 at halftime with Bailey kicking a 49 yard field goal. Bailey kept kicking for the Cowboys in the third quarter with another 49 yard field goal. New York added grabbed the lead back when Eli Manning passed 47 yards to Mario Manningham for a touchdown, and Tynes kicked the PAT. Dallas regained the lead with Romo finding Miles Austin for a 6 yard touchdown, and Bailey was true with the extra point. The Cowboys started to run away with it when Romo found Dez Bryant on a 50 yard touchdown play, and Bailey handled the extra point. The Giants got back within striking distance when Manning threw an 8 yard touchdown to Jake Ballard, and Tynes added on another extra point. Late in the fourth quarter, New York took the lead as Jacobs ran 1 yard for a touchdown, and it was 37-34 after D.J. Ware rushed to convert the two point attempt. The Giants were able to hold on to win by this margin, and now both teams are 7-6.
