The Blue Jackets took the lead with a Pierre-Luc Dubois goal, his second of the postseason, made possible by Artemi Panarin and Jones. The Bruins tied it again with a Charlie Coyle goal, his fourth of the playoffs, fueled by Marcus Johansson and Torey Krug. Washington began in the first period with an Andre Burakovsky goal, going in unassisted. The Capitals added on with a Tom Wilson goal, his third of the postseason, coming off of Alex Ovechkin and Dmitry Orlov. Carolina got on the board in the second period with a Sebastian Aho shorthanded goal, his second of the playoffs, set up by Brett Pesce and Jaccob Slavin. Washington replied with an Evgeny Kuznetsov goal, via Carl Hagelin. The Hurricanes got one back with a Teuvo Teravainen goal, his third of the postseason, made possible by Pesce and Brock McGinn. Carolina tied it on a Jordan Staal goal in the third period, his third of the playoffs, fueled by Slavin. New York City added on in the 56th minute with a Heber goal, via Ronald Matarrita. The Pigeons' Moralez and Jesus Medina picked up yellow cards for a foul in the 77th minute and time wasting in the 90th minute, respectively. The Black and Red's Paul Arriola received a yellow card in second half stoppage time for a foul, as did New York City's Johnson. The final held at 2-0, with the man of the match being Heber.
Finally, Los Angeles FC brings in the Seattle Sounders FC. Stefan Frei faces former understudy Tyler Miller in goal. Los Angeles commenced the scoring in the 12th minute with a Carlos Vela goal, via Mark-Anthony Kaye. Seattle's Roman Torres took a yellow card for a 22nd minute foul. The Black and Gold's Eduard Atuesta picked up a yellow card for time wasting in the 35th minute. Los Angeles added on in the 39th minute with an Atuesta goal, set up by Kaye. Kim Kee-hee of the Sounders received a yellow card for his 44th minute foul. Seattle got on the board in the 51st minute with a Harry Shipp goal, passed from Victor Rodriguez. The Black and Gold replied with a Vela goal in the 55th minute, coming off of Atuesta and Latif Blessing. Kelvin Leerdam of the Sounders received a yellow card for his 58th minute foul. Los Angeles extended the lead as Christian Ramirez scored in the 61st minute, with the help of Kaye. Seattle's Jordy Delem was booked in the 67th minute for a foul. The final remained at 4-1, with Kaye picked as man of the match.
