NWSL Midweek - August 14, 2019
The only midweek game for NWSL this week sees Sky Blue FC hosting the Chicago Red Stars. Alyssa Naeher and Kailen Sheridan protect the nets. Sky Blue's Kenie Wright took a yellow card for a 56th minute foul. In the 62nd minute, Chicago's Yuki Nagasato received a yellow card for a foul, as did teammate Katie Naughton in the 64th minute. Sky Blue got going in the 71st minute with a Paige Monaghan goal, assisted by Carli Lloyd. The Red Stars tied it in stoppage time on a Sam Kerr goal, set up by Yuki Nagasato.
