Seattle, as the Sounders FC host the New England Revolution. Matt Turner and Stefan Frei are in the six-yard boxes. Seattle opened on a Harry Shipp goal in the 2nd minute, via Jordan Morris and Jordy Delem. New England tied it in the 27th minute with a Michael Mancienne goal, passed from Carles Gil. The Revolution took the lead on a Gustavo Bou goal in the 35th minute, set up by Edgar Castillo. New England saw yellow cards for fouls by Andrew Farrell in the 46th minute and Mancienne in the 54th minute. The Sounders retied it in the 65th minute with a Shipp goal, assisted by Joevin Jones and Nicolas Lodeiro. Seattle pulled ahead on a Lodeiro goal in the 66th minute, coming off of Morris and Cristian Roldan. The Revolution equalized with a Gil penalty kick goal in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Kim Kee-hee of the Sounders took a yellow card for dissent. The final was 3-3, with the man of the match being Shipp.
At the normal time, the Columbus Crew SC welcome in-state rivals in FC Cincinnati. Przemyslaw Tyton and Eloy Room are the newcomer keepers. Cincinnati started in the 16th minute with a Darren Mattocks goal, via Victor Ulloa. Alex Crognale of Columbus had a yellow card for an 18th minute foul. The Orange and Blue added on in the 23rd minute with an Emmanuel Ledesma goal, passed from Roland Lamah. The Crew got on the board with a Gyasi Zardes penalty kick goal in the 45th minute. Columbus tied it in the 62nd minute with a Pedro Santos goal, guided in by Wil Trapp. The Crew's Santos picked up a yellow card for a 68th minute foul. Cincinnati saw yellow cards for fouls by Maikel van der Werff in the 72nd minute and Allan Cruz and Ulloa in stoppage time. The final remained at 2-2, with Santos named man of the match.
Up in Canada, Toronto FC brings in Orlando City SC. Brian Rowe and Quentin Westberg man the nets. Marco Delgado of Toronto had a yellow card for a 34th minute foul. Orlando City got going in the 69th minute with a Benji Michel goal, passed from Chris Mueller. The Reds tied it in the 77th minute with a Patrick Mullins goal. Lamine Sane of the Lions earned a yellow card for an 82nd minute foul. The final was 1-1, with the man of the match title going to Rowe, who went four for five in saves.
Way to the south, FC Dallas hosts Minnesota United FC. Vito Mannone and Jesse Gonzalez are the gloved men. Minnesota led off in the 11th minute with an Ethan Finlay goal, courtesy of Miguel Ibarra. Dallas tied it on a Ryan Hollingshead goal in the 28th minute, set up by Michael Barrios. The Toros took the lead in the 32nd minute with a Santiago Mosquera goal. The Loons retied it in the 41st minute on another Finlay goal, helped along by Collin Martin. Dallas regained the lead with a 45th minute goal by Reggie Cannon, coming off of Barrios and Paxton Pomykal. Minnesota saw yellow cards for fouls by Ibarra in the 48th minute, Hassani Dotson in the 58th minute, and Michael Boxall in the 69th minute. The Toros' Dominique Badji earned a yellow card for a 72nd minute foul. The Loons equalized in the 73rd minute with a Dotson goal, guided in by Lawrence Olum. Dallas regained the lead in the 85th minute on a Brandon Servania goal, assisted by Barrios and Pomykal. The Toros added on in stoppage time with another Servania goal, with a helper from Pomykal. Three minutes later, Cannon of Dallas had a yellow card for time wasting while Mason Toye of Minnesota took a straight red card for violent conduct to put his team at ten men. The final was 5-3, with Barrios' trio of assists making him man of the match.
Backtracking to Kansas City, where Sporting welcomes Real Salt Lake. Nick Rimando and Tim Melia tend the twines. In the 29th minute, Salt Lake's Nick Besler and Kansas City's Felipe Gutierrez each had yellow cards for fouls. Sporting began in the 31st minute with a Johnny Russell goal. Real tied it in the 38th minute with a Corey Baird goal. In first half stoppage time, Donny Toia of Salt Lake and Andreu Fontas of Kansas City received yellow cards for fouls. Real pulled ahead in the 70th minute with another Baird goal, set up by Jefferson Savarino. Salt Lake's Baird had a yellow card for a 76th minute foul. Sporting went down to ten men in the 84th minute when Daniel Salloi took a straight red card for his foul. In second half stoppage time, Kansas City's Erik Hurtado and Real's Aaron Herrera took yellow cards for fouls. The final was 2-1, and Baird's brace secured man of the match honors.
Along to Chicago, as the Fire bring in the Montreal Impact. Evan Bush faces a lesser foe in Kenneth Kronholm in goal. Chicago struck first in the 8th minute with a Dax McCarty goal, via Bastian Schweinsteiger. The Fire added on in the 19th minute with a Nemanja Nikolic goal, courtesy of Aleksandar Katai and Francisco Calvo. Chicago keeper Kronholm took a yellow card for a 32nd minute foul. Montreal got on the board in the 34th minute with a Saphir Taider penalty kick goal. The Impact saw a yellow card for a Zakaria Diallo foul in the 67th minute. McCarty of the Fire had a yellow card for a 74th minute foul. Montreal tied it in the 76th minute with a Bacary Sagna goal, assisted by Jorge Corrales. Chicago regained the lead in the 88th minute with a Schweinsteiger goal, set up by Djordje Mihailovic. This stood for a 3-2 win, with Schweinsteiger selected as man of the match.
Westward to Colorado, as the Rapids host the San Jose Earthquakes. Daniel Vega and Clint Irwin are between the sticks. Colorado was first to score in the 44th minute with a Kellyn Acosta goal, via Diego Rubio. San Jose's Judson took a yellow card for a 55th minute foul. The Earthquakes tied it on a Valeri Qazaishvili goal in the 62nd minute, helped along by Danny Hoesen. Saturday's finale is in Portland, where the Timbers welcome the Vancouver Whitecaps FC. Maxime Crepeau and Steve Clark are the goalies. On Sunday, the first of four games has Atlanta United FC bringing in New York City FC. Sean Johnson and Brad Guzan patrol the penalty areas. Northward to Philadelphia, as the Union host the Houston Dynamo. Joe Willis and Andre Blake are the keepers. Philadelphia cracked the scoresheet in the 18th minute with a Kacper Przybylko goal, assisted by Haris Medunjanin. Houston's Maynor Figueroa took a yellow card for a 34th minute foul. The Dynamo tied it in the 42nd minute with a Christian Ramirez goal, passed from DaMarcus Beasley and Memo Rodriguez. Houston's Juan Cabezas received a yellow card for a 58th minute foul. The Union pulled ahead in the 78th minute on a Jack Elliott goal. The final was 2-1, with the man of the match being Elliott.
Also, DC United welcomes the Los Angeles Galaxy. David Bingham and Bill Hamid draw the starts in goal. Finally, Los Angeles FC brings in the New York Red Bulls. Luis Robles and Tyler Miller guard the woodwork. New York's Tim Parker had a yellow card for an 8th minute foul. New York tied it in the 45th minute with an own goal by Los Angeles keeper Miller. The Red Bulls saw yellow cards for fouls by Casseres in the 46th minute and Kemar Lawrence in the 48th minute. The Black and Gold retook the lead with a Vela penalty kick goal in the 61st minute. Los Angeles extended the lead as Eddie Segura scored, thanks to Vela in the 72nd minute. Alex Muyl of New York had a yellow card for a 76th minute foul. The final stayed at 4-2 with Vela named man of the match.
