San Francisco, where the 49ers host the Miami Dolphins. Miami began with a second quarter Dan Carpenter 28 yard field goal. San Francisco tied it as David Akers made a 30 yard field goal. The 49ers took the lead as Akers made a 37 yard field goal. San Francisco extended the lead in the third quarter as Frank Gore ran 1 yard for a touchdown, and Akers made the extra point. The Dolphins shot back on a Carpenter 53 yard field goal. The 49ers shot back with a 1 yard Anthony Dixon touchdown run, and Akers supplied the PAT. Miami answered on a 3 yard touchdown pass from Ryan Tannehill to Anthony Fasano, and Carpenter was there with the extra point. San Francisco responded with a 50 yard touchdown run by Colin Kaepernick, and Akers drove home the extra point. This made it 27-13, a final, with the 49ers at 9-3-1 and the Dolphins dropping to 5-8.
To the north, the Seattle Seahawks welcome the Arizona Cardinals. Seattle led off with a Steven Hauschka field goal of 31 yards. The Seahawks added on as Marshawn Lynch ran 20 yards for a touchdown, and Hauschka made the extra point. Seattle extended the lead in the second quarter on a Lynch 4 yard touchdown run, and Hauschka handled another extra point. The Seahawks kept going as Richard Sherman picked off John Skelton and returned the ball 19 yards for a touchdown, allowing Hauschka another extra point. Seattle struck again as Malcolm Smith recovered a fumble by Patrick Peterson on a punt return inside the end zone for a touchdown, and Hauschka was there with another PAT. The Seahawks padded the lead with a 24 yard Russell Wilson touchdown pass to Zach Miller, and Hauschka booted the extra point. Seattle continued in the third quarter as Lynch ran in a third touchdown, this time for 33 yards, and Hauschka tacked on the extra point. The Seahawks got some more as Hauschka knocked in a 28 yard field goal. Seattle got some more as Hauschka kicked a 32 yard field goal. The Seahawks scored once again on a 3 yard Leon Washington touchdown run, and Hauschka was again true with the extra point. This iced the game at 58-0, with Seattle improving to 8-5 while the Cardinals drop to 4-9. This was the third biggest shutout in regular-season history in the NFL.
Eastward to New York, as the Giants host the New Orleans Saints. New Orleans started in the first quarter when Elbert Mack returned an interception of Eli Manning for 73 yards and a touchdown, and Garrett Hartley made the extra point. New York tied the game after David Wilson ran back the ensuing kickoff for 97 yards and a touchdown, and Lawrence Tynes had the equalizing extra point. The Giants took the lead when Manning found Martellus Bennett for 6 yards and a touchdown, and Tynes booted the extra point. The Saints got some back on a Hartley 32 yard field goal. New Orleans got closer on a Hartley 25 yard field goal. New York answered with Manning passing 5 yards for a touchdown to Domenik Hixon, and Tynes was true with the PAT. The Giants extended the lead in the third quarter as Wilson ran in a 6 yard touchdown, and Tynes booted another extra point. New York padded the lead with Manning passing 25 yards to Hakeem Nicks for a touchdown, and Tynes kicked in another extra point. The Saints took some back when Darren Sproles ran 13 yards for a touchdown, and Hartley made his extra point. New Orleans pulled closer as Drew Brees passed 9 yards for a touchdown to Sproles, and Hartley again knocked in the extra point. The Giants responded as Manning passed 10 yards to Victor Cruz for a touchdown, and Tynes blasted the extra point. New York got some more as Tynes made a 39 yard field goal. The Giants kept going with a 52 yard Wilson touchdown run, and Tynes kicked another extra point. This produced a 52-27 final scored, with the Giants now at 8-5 and the Saints at 5-8.
Finally, the night game features the Green Bay Packers hosting the Detroit Lions. Detroit opened in the first quarter on a Matthew Stafford 4 yard touchdown run, and Jason Hanson made the extra point. The Lions added on in the second quarter with a Stafford touchdown pass of 3 yards to Tony Scheffler, and Hanson again handled the extra point. Green Bay got on the board with a 49 yard field goal by Mason Crosby. The Packers pulled closer as Mike Daniels recovered a Stafford fumble and took it in 43 yards for a touchdown, with Crosby tacking on the extra point. Green Bay took the lead in the third quarter as Aaron Rodgers ran 27 yards for a touchdown, and Crosby kicked in the extra point. Detroit tied it with a Hanson 46 yard field goal. The Packers reclaimed the lead in the fourth quarter on a DuJuan Harris 14 yard touchdown rush, allowing Crosby to make the PAT. Green Bay extended the lead with a 41 yard Crosby field goal. The Lions tried to rally back as Hanson made a 34 yard field goal, but fell short, losing 27-20, with the Packers now at 9-4 and the Lions dropping to 4-9.
