Admiral got one back as Felix Schutz scored a power play goal, set up by Niclas Bergfors and Richard Gygne. This only made it 3-2, which was the margin of victory for Sibir. The three stars were Kopeikin, Koskiranta, and Gaiduchenko (21 for 23 in saves).
The other game comes from Novokuznetsk, where Metallurg hosts Amur Khabarovsk. Alexei Murygin of Amur and Niko Hovinen of Metallurg play in the blue paint. Novokuznetsk opened with a second period goal by Marko Anttila, coming on the power play from Yegor Martynov. Khabarovsk tied it with an Alexander Yunkov goal, made possible by Vladimir Loginov and Evgeny Korotkov.
