Moscow, as Dynamo hosts their cross-town rivals, Spartak. Jeff Glass and Alexander Lazushin are the goalies. Dynamo began in the first period with a Yury Babenko power play goal, made possible by Maxim Karpov. Spartak tied it on a second period Viktor Bobrov goal, guided in by Nikolai Zherdev and Rastislav Spirko. Dynamo retook the lead in the third period as Konstantin Glazachev scored, with the help of Maxim Solovyov and the goalie Lazushin. They held on for a 2-1 win, with the three stars being Glazachev, Lazushin (17 for 18 in saves), and Glass (30 for 32 in saves).
