MLS Wednesday October 22nd, 2014

One game on tonight in the midweek game for the last week of the season. Real Salt Lake hosts Chivas USA. Dan Kennedy and Nick Rimando man the nets. Chivas had a yellow card go to Donny Toia in the thirty-first minute. Salt Lake got going with a thirty-sixth minute penalty kick goal by Alvaro Saborio. Chivas saw more disciplinary action, with a yellow card going to Bobby Burling for his foul in fiftieth minute, followed by a fifty-sixth minute red card for a fight by Marvin Chavez. Real took a yellow card for a fifty-ninth minute foul by Carlos Salcedo. Salt Lake added on with a Kyle Beckerman goal in the seventy-fourth minute. Chivas had the next yellow card in the seventy-sixth minute on a Nigel Reo-Coker foul. Real saw a booking go to Ned Grabavoy for his handball in the eighty-fifth minute. The final was 2-0 favoring Salt Lake, and the man of the match was Saborio.
