Today's game has Barys Astana host Avangard Omsk. Konstantin Barulin and Jan Laco are the goalies. Omsk got going in the second period on an Alexander Perezhogin goal, guided in by Chad Kolarik and Alexander Popov. Avangard added on with a Vladimir Sobotka third period goal, passed from Perezhogin and Sergei Kalinin. The final stood at 2-0, with the three stars going to Barulin (28 save shutout), Perezhogin, and Sobotka.
