Zagreb tied it in the second period as Bill Thomas scored, thanks to Geoffrey Kinrade and Edwin Hedberg. Vityaz took the lead back on a third period goal by Maxim Mamin, via Berdyukov. Podolsk iced it at 3-1 on a Kucheryavenko empty net goal, set up by Yakov Seleznyov and Berdyukov, the latter getting a sock trick.
