The Lightning added on in the second period as Steven Stamkos scored his third of the playoffs, thanks to Alex Killorn and Matthew Carle. Tampa Bay extended the lead with a Palat power play goal, his third of the postseason, powered by Kucherov and Anton Stralman. Montreal got on the board in the third period with a Max Pacioretty goal, his fifth of the playoffs, fueled by Brendan Gallagher. The Lightning finished it at 4-1 with a Kucherov empty net goal, his second of the game and sixth of the postseason, going in unassisted. The three stars went to Kucherov, Palat, and Stamkos. The Lightning advance to the Eastern Conference Final against the winner of tomorrow's game with a 4-2 series win of their own.
