Just one midweek game, with the Chicago Fire hosting the Columbus Crew SC. Steve Clark and Sean Johnson are in the six-yard boxes. Columbus opened in the forty-first minute as Kei Kamara scored, thanks to Ethan Finlay. Chicago saw yellow cards for fouls by Chris Ritter in the forty-sixth minute and Eric Gehrig in the sixty-third minute. The Crew took yellow cards for Chad Barson's seventy-seventh minute foul and time wasting by Clark in stoppage time. A few minutes later, the Fire's David Accam received a yellow card for a foul. The final stood at 1-0, with the man of the match being Kamara.
