Khabarovsk, as Amur hosts Admiral Vladivostok. Igor Bobkov and Juha Metsola are the goalies. Khabarovsk struck first in the first period on a Konstantin Sokolov goal, assisted by Michel Miklik and Tomas Zohorna. Amur added on with a Danil Faizullin goal, passed from Evgeny Grachyov. Vladivostok got on the board with a Dmitry Lugin goal, coming off of Corey Trivino. Admiral tied it on a second period goal from Dmitry Sayustov, via Samvel Mnatsyan and Artyom Podshendyalov. Vladivostok took the lead as Lugin scored his second of the game, made possible by Niclas Bergfors and Trivino. Admiral iced it at 4-2 on an empty net goal by Podshendyalov, going in unassisted. The three stars went to Lugin, Podshendyalov, and Trivino.
The other game sees Metallurg Magnitogorsk host Avangard Omsk. Dominik Furch and Vasily Koshechkin protect the nets. Omsk was first to score in the first period on a Nikolai Lemtyugov goal, assisted by Yury Alexandrov and Michal Kempny. Magnitogorsk got on the board with a Danis Zaripov power play goal in the second period, powered by Wojtek Wolski and Jan Kovar. Avangard took the lead back as Vladimir Sobotka scored an unassisted power play goal. Metallurg tied it again in the third period on a Kovar goal, guided in by Sergei Mozyakin. In the shootout, Mozyakin had the only tally, lifting Metallurg to a 3-2 win. The three stars were Kovar, Mozyakin, and Furch (40 for 42 in saves).
