The Montreal Impact hosting Orlando City SC. Joe Bendik and Evan Bush man the nets. Montreal started in the second minute with a Didier Drogba goal. Orlando City tied it in the fourth minute with a Brek Shea goal, passed from Carlos Rivas and Matias Perez Garcia. Orlando City took the lead with a Kaka goal in the thirty-sixth minute, via Rivas and Garcia. Shea of Orlando City took a forty-fifth minute yellow card for a foul. In the fifty-first minute, the Impact lost their goalie Bush to a red card for his denial of a goal scoring opportunity. Orlando City's Kaka capitalized on his fifty-fourth minute penalty kick, adding onto the lead against Eric Kronberg. Patrice Bernier of Montreal had a yellow card for dissent in the fifty-first minute as well. In the fifty-fifth minute, Servando Carrasco of Orlando City took a yellow card for a foul. In the seventy-seventh minute, Orlando City's Rivas scored to extend the lead, set up by Julio Baptista. Hernan Bernardello took a yellow card for an eighty-fourth minute foul for the Impact. Seb Hines of Orlando City took an eighty-ninth minute yellow card for a foul. The game ended 4-1, with the man of the match being Rivas for his goal and two assists.
The other game features Real Salt Lake hosting the Los Angeles Galaxy. Brian Rowe and Nick Rimando are in goal. Chris Wingert of Salt Lake took a yellow card for his foul in the second minute. Los Angeles opened with an Emmanuel Boateng goal in the sixth minute, courtesy of Giovani dos Santos. Kyle Beckerman of Real took a yellow card for a seventeenth minute foul. The Galaxy's Jeff Larentowicz received a yellow card for his twenty-fifth minute foul. Jamison Olave of Salt Lake took a yellow card for a foul in the twenty-seventh minute. Real tied it in the fifty-third minute with a Joao Plata penalty kick goal. Los Angeles took the lead back on a fifty-seventh minute dos Santos goal, assisted by Baggio Husidic. Luke Mulholland of Salt Lake was assessed a yellow card for persistent infringement in the sixty-second minute. The Galaxy extended the lead as dos Santos scored in the sixty-fourth minute. Real cut back with a Plata goal in the sixty-seventh minute, set up by Yura Movsisyan and Tony Beltran. In stoppage time, Juan Manuel Martinez scored with the help of Plata to tie it for Salt Lake. Los Angeles' dos Santos took a yellow card for dissent. The game ended in a 3-3 draw, with dos Santos the man of the match for his brace and assist for a road point.
