Los Angeles got one back in the third period with a Carter goal, his second of the game and fourteenth of the season, going in unassisted. Budaj was pulled for Jeff Zatkoff after this. Down in Raleigh, the Carolina Hurricanes welcome the Vancouver Canucks. Ryan Miller and Cam Ward are the overrated goalies. Vancouver tied it on a Sven Baertschi goal, his fifth of the year, via Bo Horvat and Alexandre Burrows. The Hurricanes retook the lead with a Jeff Skinner power play goal, his tenth of the season, powered by Noah Hanifin and Derek Ryan. The Canucks tied it again in the second period with a Burrows goal, his fifth of the year, guided in by Baertschi and Nikita Tryamkin.
