Just one game on today as the New York Rangers host the Carolina Hurricanes. Petr Mrazek and Henrik Lundqvist are in goal. Carolina got going in the third period with a Warren Foegele goal, his seventh of the season, made possible by Saku Maenalanen and Greg McKegg. The Hurricanes added on with an Andrei Svechnikov empty net goal, his fourteenth of the year, set up by Brock McGinn and Brett Pesce. Carolina iced it at 3-0 with a McGinn empty net goal, his sixth of the campaign, with a lone assist by Pesce. The three stars were Mrazek (27 save shutout), Foegele, and McGinn, while Pesce and Lundqvist (30 for 31 in saves) get the honorable mentions.
