Seattle led off in the 8th minute with a Victor Rodriguez goal, set up by Jordan Morris and Raul Ruidiaz. The Sounders added on in the 15th minute with a Morris goal, assisted by Nicolas Lodeiro. Seattle extended the lead in the 49th minute as Lodeiro scored on a penalty kick goal. Chicago got on the board in the 56th minute with a Raheem Edwards goal, via C.J. Sapong and Przemyslaw Frankowski. The Fire's Edwards' took a yellow card for a 64th minute foul. Cristian Roldan of the Sounders received a yellow card for his 77th minute foul. Chicago pulled closer in the 84th minute with a Fabian Herbers goal. Seattle replied on a Ruidiaz goal in the 88th minute, coming off of Brad Smith. Herbers of the Fire took a yellow card for a foul in stoppage time. The final held at 4-2, with the man of the match being Morris.
Over in Ohio, the Columbus Crew SC welcome FC Dallas. Jesse Gonzalez and Zack Steffan draw the starts in goal. Columbus began in the 10th minute with a Gaston Sauro goal, via Pedro Santos. Bryan Acosta of Dallas took a yellow card for a 44th minute foul. The Crew's Waylon Francis received a yellow card for a foul in stoppage time. The final stood at 1-0, with Sauro picked as man of the match.
In Texas, the Houston Dynamo bring in the Vancouver Whitecaps FC. Maxime Crepeau and Joe Willis are in the six-yard boxes. Houston started in the 15th minute with a Memo Rodriguez goal, assisted by Alberth Elis. Vancouver tied it on a Fredy Montero penalty kick goal in the 35th minute. The Dynamo regained the lead on an Elis penalty kick goal in the 42nd minute. Houston's Rodriguez took a yellow card for a foul in the 49th minute. The Whitecaps tied it on a 54th minute goal by Lass. The Dynamo regained the lead again in the 73rd minute with a Rodriguez goal, set up by Elis and Mauro Manotas. In the 82nd minute, Victor Giro of Vancouver took a yellow card for a foul. Houston's Romell Quioto picked up a yellow card for an 83rd minute foul. Marcos Lopez of the Earthquakes received a yellow card for a foul in the 65th minute. The Red Bulls took the lead with a Muyl goal in the 71st minute. New York's Michael Murillo took a yellow card for his 81st minute foul. The Red Bulls added on in the 85th minute with a Bradley Wright-Phillips goal, passed from Sean Davis and Vincent Bezecourt. New York iced it at 4-1 with a Royer goal in the 89th minute, assisted by Murillo and Marc Rzatkowski. The man of the match was Muyl for his off-the-bench brace.
In Florida, Orlando City SC welcomes the Montreal Impact. Evan Bush and Brian Rowe are the gloved men. Montreal struck first in the 14th minute with an Orji Okwonkwo goal. The Impact added on in the 15th minute with an Ignacio Piatti goal, assisted by Maximiliano Urruti. Orlando City saw yellow cards for fouls by Rowe in the 16th minute and Shane O'Neill in the 23rd minute. Micheal Azira of Montreal took a yellow card for not retreating in the 32nd minute. The Lions' Danilo Acosta had a yellow card for his 55th minute foul. Montreal's Okwonkwo got booked for a 57th minute foul. The Impact extended the lead as Piatti scored again in the 80th minute, thanks to Harry Novillo. Orlando City got on the board in stoppage time with a Dom Dwyer goal, helped along by Santiago Patino and Chris Mueller. Later on, Montreal went down to ten men as Zakaria Diallo took a straight red for violent conduct. The Lions' Cristian Higuita received a yellow card a minute later for a foul. The final remained at 3-1, with Piatti's brace making him the man of the match.
Up north, DC United brings in Real Salt Lake. Nick Rimando and Bill Hamid are the goalies. Marcelo Silva of Salt Lake had a yellow card for a 32nd minute foul. DC was first to score in the 34th minute with a Wayne Rooney penalty kick goal. Russell Canouse of the Black and Red received a yellow card for his foul in the 37th minute. In the 57th minute, Junior Moreno of the Black and Red took a yellow card for his foul. DC extended the lead as Rooney completed his hat trick in the 65th minute, thanks to Moreno and Luciano Acosta. Salt Lake went down to nine men as Silva picked up a second yellow card for a foul in the 67th minute. Sebastian Saucedo of Real took a yellow card for a 70th minute foul. The Black and Red saw Lucas Rodriguez get booked for a 71st minute foul. DC padded the lead on a Rodriguez goal in the 76th minute, helped along by Rooney. Corey Baird of Salt Lake picked up a yellow card for a 78th minute foul. The Black and Red kept going with a Ulises Segura goal in the 80th minute, made possible by Moreno.
Saturday ends with the Los Angeles Galaxy hosting Minnesota United FC. Vito Mannone and David Bingham patrol the penalty areas. Los Angeles drew first blood in the 36th minute with a Jonathan dos Santos penalty kick goal. The Galaxy added on with a Chris Pontius goal in the 41st minute, via Rolf Feltscher and Emmanuel Boateng. Miguel Ibarra of Minnesota had a yellow card for a 60th minute foul. The Loons got on the board with a Jan Gregus goal in the 75th minute, coming of of Romain Metanire. Los Angeles replied in the 81st minute with a Sebastian Lletget goal, courtesy of Uriel Antuna. Joe Corona of the Galaxy took a yellow card for an 82nd minute offense. Minnesota pulled back on an Angelo Rodriguez goal in the 87th minute. Abu Danladi of the Loons collected a yellow card for a foul in stoppage time. The final held at 3-2, with the man of the match being Lletget for the game-winner.
On Sunday, New York City FC welcomes Los Angeles FC. Tyler Miller and Sean Johnson are the starting keepers. New York City regained the lead in the 62nd minute on an Alexander Ring goal, via Sweat and Valentin Castellanos. Alexander Callens of the Pigeons took a yellow card for a 64th minute foul. In the 73rd minute, Vela of Los Angeles picked up a yellow card for a foul. Vela tied it for the Black and Gold with a penalty kick goal in the 76th minute. In the 88th minute, Maxime Chanot of New York City got booked for a foul. In the 90th minute, Los Angeles' Mark-Anthony Kaye and the Pigeons' Mitrita took yellow cards, and James Sands of New York City followed them in the book in stoppage time. The game ended 2-2, with Vela named man of the match.
Over in Ohio, FC Cincinnati brings in the Portland Timbers. Jeff Attinella and Spencer Richey are the goalies. Cincinnati began in the 15th minute with a Kendall Waston goal, via Leonardo Bertone. Larrys Mabiala of Portland had a yellow card for a foul in first half stoppage time. The Orange and Blue's Waston picked up a yellow card for a 46th minute handball. Cincinnati added on in the 61st minute with an Allan Cruz goal. The Orange and Blue extended the lead as Mathieu Deplagne scored in the 63rd minute, thanks to Darren Mattocks. The Timbers saw a yellow card for a handball by Lucas Melano in the 65th minute. Portland went down to ten men in the 70th minute when Mabiala took a second yellow card for a foul. Cincinnati's Bertone was booked in the 90th minute for a foul. The final stayed at 3-0, with Cruz picked as man of the match.
Down in Georgia, Atlanta United FC hosts the Philadelphia Union. Andre Blake and Brad Guzan are the gloved men. Philadelphia got going in the 47th minute with a Brenden Aaronson goal, via Kai Wagner. New England's Antonio Mlinar Delamea picked up a yellow card for persistent infringement in the 49th minute. The Revolution retied it in the 52nd minute with a Gil goal, his second of the game. Wilfried Zahibo of New England received a yellow card for his 60th minute foul. In the 79th minute, Toronto's Akinola had a yellow card for a foul. The Reds pulled ahead on a Jozy Altidore goal in the 80th minute, made possible by Justin Morrow and Michael Bradley. This stood for a 3-2 win, with Akinola tabbed as man of the match.
Finally, the Colorado Rapids bring in Sporting Kansas City. Tim Melia and Tim Howard tend the twines. Kansas City's Felipe Gutierrez received a yellow card for a foul in the 41st minute. Colorado's Kei Kamara took a yellow card for a 53rd minute foul. The Rapids dented the scoreboard in the 54th minute on a Diego Rubio goal. Colorado saw a yellow card for Benny Feilhaber in the 60th minute. Roger Espinoza of Sporting had a yellow card for a 64th minute foul. Colorado's Rubio received a yellow card for a dive in the 72nd minute. Botond Barath of Kansas City got booked in the 75th minute for a foul. The Rapids went down to ten men as Johan Blomberg received yellow cards in the 80th and 87th minutes, for a foul and then time wasting. Sporting tied it on an 88th minute Johnny Russell goal, which stood to create the 1-1 final score. Russell was named man of the match for the late equalizer.
