The Golden Knights took the lead on a Chandler Stephenson goal, his fifth of the season, via Max Pacioretty and Mark Stone. The Stars retied it with a Jamie Benn goal, his seventh of the year, with a lone helper from Tyler Seguin. Vegas won 3-2 in overtime with a Pacioretty goal, his thirteenth of the campaign, helped along by Theodore and Stone. The three stars were Pacioretty, Theodore, and Stone.
The other game sees the Colorado Avalanche host the New Jersey Devils. Louis Domingue and Pavel Francouz are the backups in goal.
