Buffalo tied it in the second period with a Victor Olofsson goal, his sixteenth of the year, via Casey Mittelstadt and Henri Jokiharju. The Jets took the lead back with a Josh Morrissey goal, his eighth of the season, guided in by Nikolaj Ehlers and Dylan DeMelo. The Sabres tied it in the third period on a Tyson Jost goal, his fourth of the year, passed from Olofsson and Rasmus Dahlin. Winnipeg regained the lead on a Kyle Connor goal, his twenty-first of the season, coming off of Ehlers. The Jets iced it at 4-2 with a Karson Kuhlman empty net goal, his second of the year, set up by Connor and Brenden Dillon. The three stars belonged to Connor, Olofsson, and Ehlers.
In Montreal, the Canadiens bring in the Nashville Predators. Yaroslav Askarov and Sam Montembeault are the little-known goalies.
