Just a single game on for Sunday night, as the Edmonton Oilers host the Vegas Golden Knights. Adin Hill and Stuart Skinner protect the nets. Vegas led off in the first period with a Reilly Smith goal, his second of the postseason, going in unassisted. Edmonton tied it on a Connor McDavid goal, his eighth of the playoffs, guided in by Brett Kulak and Evander Kane. The Oilers took the lead with a Warren Foegele goal, his second of the postseason, made possible by Derek Ryan and Ryan McLeod. The Golden Knights tied it on a Jonathan Marchessault goal, his third of the playoffs, fueled by Ivan Barbashev and Shea Theodore in the second period. Vegas pulled ahead with a Marchessault goal, his second of the game and fourth of the postseason, assisted by Alec Martinez and Barbashev. The Golden Knights added on as Marchessault completed his hat trick on his fifth of the playoffs, thanks to Alex Pietrangelo and Jack Eichel. Jack Campbell replaced Skinner in goal. Vegas iced it at 5-2 with a William Karlsson empty net goal in the third period, his fifth of the postseason, set up by Nicolas Roy. The three stars were Marchessault, Barbashev and Hill (39 for 41 in saves). The Golden Knights won the series 4-2 and will play in the Western Conference Finals.
