All eyes are on Seattle to open 2024, as the Kraken host the Vegas Golden Knights in the Winter Classic at T-Mobile Park. Logan Thompson and Joey Daccord guard the cages. Seattle opened in the first period with an Eeli Tolvanen goal, his tenth of the season, assisted by Vince Dunn and Adam Larsson. The Kraken added on in the second period with a Will Borgen goal, via Tye Kartye and Tolvanen. Seattle extended the lead in the third period as Yanni Gourde scored an unassisted goal, his fifth of the year. The three stars of the 3-0 game were Daccord (35 save shutout), Tolvanen, and Gourde.
