There's just one game this Friday night, as the Arizona Coyotes host the Carolina Hurricanes. Pyotr Kochetkov and Karel Vejmelka are the goalies. Carolina struck first in the first period with a Jordan Martinook goal, his ninth of the season, via Brady Skjei and Jordan Staal. The Hurricanes added on with a Jalen Chatfield goal, his fifth of the year, coming off of Martin Necas and Jack Drury. Arizona got on the board with a Dylan Guenther goal, his fifth of the season, going in unassisted. Carolina replied in the second period with a Seth Jarvis unassisted goal, his seventeenth of the year. The Hurricanes extended the lead on a Teuvo Teravainen power play goal, his seventeenth of the season, powered by Drury and Stefan Noesen. Carolina padded the lead in the third period with a Michael Bunting goal, his twelfth of the year, fueled by Necas. Matt Villalta replaced Vejmelka in goal. The final was 5-1, and the three stars were Kochetkov (30 for 31 in saves), Drury, and Necas.
