Vityaz gained the lead in the third period on a Josh Hennessy goal, fueled by Dinar Khafizullin and Artemy Panarin. The other game for today featured CSKA Moscow hosting Dinamo Minsk. Lars Haugen and Rastislav Stana will protect the nets. The Pittsburgh Penguins hosting the Toronto Maple Leafs. James Reimer and Marc-Andre Fleury will receive the starting nods. Pittsburgh struck first in the first period as Evgeni Malkin scored a power play goal, powered by Sidney Crosby and Kris Letang. Toronto tied it in the second period with a Clarke MacArthur goal, fueled by Nazem Kadri and Nikolai Kulemin.
