Ten games fill up the schedule tonight, beginning with...

Carolina tied it in the second period with a Jordan Staal power play goal, his fourth of the year, powered by Jaccob Slavin and Brett Pesce. The Hurricanes took the lead with an unassisted Klas Dahlbeck goal. The Devils retied it in the third period with a Nick Lappin goal, via Sergey Kalinin and Vernon Fiddler. The tie went to a shootout, where Parenteau and Hall lifted the Devils to a 3-2 win. The three stars belonged to Parenteau, Hall, and Lappin.
