Chelyabinsk opened in the first period with a Maxim Yakutsenya power play goal, powered by Kirill Koltsov and Nikolai Belov. Sochi tied it on an Andrei Kostitsyn goal, helped along by Ilya Krikunov. The tie lasted to a shootout, where Andre Petersson and Yegor Morozov topped Derek Roy to give the Leopards a 2-1 win. Over in Magnitogorsk, Metallurg welcomes Spartak Moscow. Markus Svensson and Vasily Koshechkin are the goalies.
