Sunday Night Football Week 12
San Diego at Indianapolis: Peyton Manning passed to Jacob Tamme to open the scoring, good for 4 yards and the touchdown. Adam Vinatieri made the extra point. Nate Kaeding answered for the Chargers with a 28 yard field goal. Kevin Burnett also intercepted Peyton Manning for 29 yards and a touchdown, with Kaeding kicking the extra point. Kaeding added two more field goals, good from 33 and 50 yards before Manning struck again, this time to Blair White for 6 yards and the touchdown. Vinatieri added the extra point. Kaeding added a 30 yard field goal to start the scoring the second half, followed by Eric Weddle's interception of Peyton Manning for 41 yards and a touchdown, with Kaeding tacking on the extra point. Mike Tolbert ran 3 yards for a touchdown early in the fourth quarter and Kaeding added another extra point, and later another field goal, good from 20 yards. That proved to be the end, and the Chargers routed the Colts 36-14.
