Thursday Night Football, week 13

We return to a late-season normality with only one football game this Thursday night. This game is between the host Philadelphia Eagles and Chicago Bears. The Eagles got on the board first with a 1 yard touchdown pass from Michael Vick to LeSean McCoy. David Akers added the extra point. Houston responded with a 48 yard field goal from Neil Rackers. McCoy answered back with a 4 yard touchdown rush, and Akers was true with another extra point. Akers added on a 36 yard field goal. Matt Schaub then completed a touchdown pass for 8 yards to Jacoby Jones, with Rackers adding the extra point. David Akers made it 20-10 Eagles before the half with a 22 yard field goal. After the second half started, Schaub linked up with Arian Foster for 13 yards and a touchdown, with a good Rackers extra point. Foster put the Texans ahead with his 3 yard touchdown run, and after the Rackers extra point, Houston led 24-20. Philadelphia came roaring back in the fourth quarter with Michael Vick's 2 yard touchdown run, to retake the lead 27-24 with the Akers extra point. Vick helped to put it away with his touchdown pass to Owen Schmitt for 5 yards, and with the Akers extra point, the score was 34-24. This ended up being the final as the Eagles held on and came back to win.

Regular NFL action on Sunday will be posted as it was last week, in three parts for the three sets of kickoffs.
