Thursday Night Game week 10
This week's Thursday night game features the heated rivalry of the AFC West, the San Diego Chargers at home against the Oakland Raiders. San Diego opened with a 20 yard Nick Novak field goal. Oakland took the lead on a Michael Bush touchdown rush of 2 yards, and Sebastian Janikowski handled the extra point. Janikowski added a 23 yard field goal for the Raiders in the second quarter. Oakland made it 17-3 with Carson Palmer and Denarius Moore hooking up on a 33 yard touchdown connection, and Janikowski added another extra point. This was the score at halftime. The Chargers pulled back in the third quarter with Philip Rivers throwing a 30 yard touchdown pass to Vincent Brown, and Novak took care of the extra point. The Raiders re-extended their lead as Palmer and Moore met up for a 26 yard touchdown connection, and Janikowski kicked another extra point. San Diego pulled back with a 7 yard touchdown pass from Rivers to Jacob Hester, and Novak made the PAT. This 24-17 score was the final, with Oakland going to 5-4 and the Chargers to 4-5.
