Yekaterinburg, as Avtomobilist hosts Donbass Donetsk. Michael Leighton and Jakub Kovar are set to start. Donetsk opened in the first period as Vaclav Nedorost scored, thanks to Clay Wilson and Maxim Yakutsenya on the power play. Donbass added on with a Peter Podhradsky goal, via Ruslan Fedotenko and Teemu Laine. Donetsk extended the lead on a Laine goal, coming off of Petteri Wirtanen and Fedotenko. They ended up winning 3-0, and the three stars were Leighton (25 save shutout), Laine, and Fedotenko.
