Only one game today, as SKA St. Petersburg hosts Severstal Cherepovets. Jakub Stepanek and Alexander Salak receive the starting nods. St. Petersburg got going in the second period as Roman Cervenka scored, thanks to Viktor Tikhonov and the goalie Salak. Cherepovets tied it in the third period with an Anatoly Nikontsev goal, fueled by Vadim Berdnikov and Petr Caslava. SKA took the lead back with a shorthanded goal by Evgeny Ketov, set up by Vadim Shipachyov. This held up for a 2-1 win, with Salak (25 for 26 in saves with an assist), Ketov, and Cervenka getting the three stars.
