Monday Night Football Week 11 2013

Tonight's Monday Night game comes from Carolina, as the Panthers host the New England Patriots. Carolina opened in the first quarter as Cam Newton tossed a 9 yard touchdown to Brandon LaFell, and Graham Gano knocked in the extra point. The Panthers added on as Gano made a 43 yard field goal in the second quarter. New England got on the board with a Stephen Gostkowski field goal of 42 yards. The Patriots tied it in the third quarter as Tom Brady found Rob Gronkowski for 9 yards and a touchdown, and Gostkowski handled the PAT. Carolina retook the lead as Newton connected on a 15 yard touchdown pass to Greg Olsen, and Gano was true with the extra point. New England evened the score again as Stevan Ridley ran 1 yard for a touchdown, and Gostkowski drove in the extra point. The Patriots took the lead as Gostkowski made a 26 yard field goal. The Panthers pulled ahead again as Newton passed a 25 yard touchdown to Ted Ginn, Jr., and Gano supplied the extra point. This made it 24-20, a final, with the Panthers improving to 7-3 while dropping the Patriots to the same record.
