The only game today is between the host Barys Astana and the visitors Salavat Yulaev Ufa. Andrei Vasilevsky and Vitaly Yeremeyev protect the nets. Astana was first to score in the first period with a Konstantin Rudenko goal, courtesy of Roman Savchenko. Ufa tied it on an Ivan Vishnevsky goal, passed from Alexander Stepanov. Barys took the lead back in the second period on a Dustin Boyd goal, assisted by Brandon Bochenski and Rudenko. This held up for a 2-1 win, with the three stars going to Rudenko, Yeremeyev (24 for 25 in saves), and Boyd.
