Today's game sees the series shift to Ufa. The goalies are Vasily Koshechkin for Metallurg and Andrei Vasilevsky for Salavat Yulaev. Ufa began in the first period on an Antti Pihlstrom power play goal, powered by Kirill Koltsov and Igor Mirnov. Salavat Yulaev added on in the third period with an Anton Slepyshev goal, via Alexander Stepanov and Arturs Kulda. Ufa extended the lead on another Pihlstrom power play goal, pushed through by Andrei Zubarev and Koltsov. Salavat Yulaev iced it at 4-0 with a Tomas Zaborsky power play goal, guided in by Ivan Vishnevsky and Vitaly Proshkin. The three stars were Pihlstrom, Vasilevsky (22 save shutout), and Koltsov. The game cut Metallurg's series lead to 2-1.
