This is the second game of the Western Conference Final from Prague. In goal are Curtis Sanford for Yaroslavl and Petri Vehanen for Prague. Prague led off in the first period with a Nathan Oystrick power play goal, powered by Petr Vrana and Mikko Maenpaa. Lev added on in the second period with a Patrik Zackrisson goal, with a lone assist by Jiri Sekac. Yaroslavl got on the board in the third period with a power play goal by Yegor Averin, coming off of Sergei Plotnikov and Yegor Averin. They failed to tie it, losing 2-1, with the three stars going to Zackrisson, Vehanen (34 for 35 in saves), and Oystrick. Lev takes a commanding 2-0 series lead.
