FC Dallas VS. Vancouver Whitecaps FC: MLS Western Conference Play-In Game

From Toyota Park in Frisco, Texas. The goalies are David Ousted of Vancouver and Chris Seitz of Dallas. The teams exchanged yellow cards at first, with Gershon Koffie taking one in the fourteenth minute for Vancouver, followed by Dallas' Je-Vaughn Watson in the thirty-fifth minute, both for fouls. Dallas struck first on a Tesho Akindele goal, via Mauro Diaz. The Whitecaps' Pedro Morales received a yellow card for his unsporting behavior in the forty-fifth minute. Vancouver took another yellow card with a fifty-seventh minute foul by Kendall Waston. The Whitecaps tied the game with an Erik Hurtado goal in the sixty-fourth minute. Dallas tied it on a Michel penalty kick goal in the eighty-fourth minute. In the eighty-fifth minute, Vancouver took a yellow card for an argument by Sebastian Fernandez, while Dallas had two yellow cards going to Diaz and Andres Escobar. In stoppage time, Fernandez was ejected from the game on a straight red card for a combination of a foul and abusive language. Dallas went on for a 2-1 win, and will play the Seattle Sounders FC in the conference semifinals.
