CSKA took the lead back in the second period on an Alexander Radulov goal, courtesy of Da Costa and Denis Denisov. Moscow added on with a Denisov goal, via Radulov and Grigorenko. SKA answered with a Kovalchuk power play goal, with a lone assist from Kuteikin. St. Petersburg tied it with another Kovalchuk goal, guided in by Artemy Panarin and Shipachyov on the power play.
