2015/16 Premier League Week 14

Ten games again this weekend, with six on Saturday. The first is...

Aston Villa hosting Watford. Heurelho Gomes and Brad Guzan are in goal. Watford opened with an Odion Ighalo goal in the seventeenth minute. Aston Villa tied it in the forty-first minute on a Micah Richards goal, via Jordan Veretout. In the sixty-ninth minute, Watford took the lead back as Alan Hutton of Aston Villa had an own goal. In the seventy-fourth minute, Etienne Capoue of Watford received a yellow card for a foul. Watford added on with a Troy Deeney goal in the eighty-fifth minute. He later received a yellow card for excessive celebration. In the eighty-eighth minute, Aston Villa's Ciaran Clark received a yellow card for his foul. Aston Villa got one back in the eighty-ninth minute on a Jordan Ayew goal, set up by Kieran Richardson. Nathan Ake of Watford and Carlos Sanchez of Aston Villa took yellow cards in stoppage time. Watford took the game 3-2 after 11 minutes of stoppage time.

Along to Bournemouth welcoming Everton. Tim Howard and Adam Federici are set to start in goal. Everton led off in the twenty-fifth minute with a Ramiro Funes Mori goal, assisted by Ross Barkley. Everton added on in the thirty-sixth minute as Romelu Lukaku scored, thanks to Gerard Deulofeu. Bournemouth got on the board with an eightieth minute goal by Adam Smith. Bournemouth saw a yellow card for Dan Gosling in the eighty-second minute. Bournemouth tied it on a Junior Stanislas goal, set up by Joshua King in the eighty-seventh minute. In stoppage time, Barkley scored to restore a lead for Everon, with the help of Seamus Coleman. Bournemouth leveled it again with a Stanislas goal about two and a half minutes later, with a pass from Charlie Daniels. Daniels received a yellow card for excessive celebration eight minutes into stoppage time, which is as far as the game got, ending in a 3-3 draw.

In London, Crystal Palace brings in Newcastle United. Robert Elliot and Wayne Hennessey are the goalies. Newcastle United struck first in the tenth minute on a Papiss Demba Cisse goal, via Daryl Janmaat. Crystal Palace tied it on a fourteenth minute James McArthur goal, coming off of Connor Wickham. Crystal Palace took the lead in the seventeenth minute on a Yannick Bolasie goal. In the thirty-eighth minute, Wilfried Zaha's foul for Crystal Palace brought him a yellow card. Crystal Palace added to their lead with a Zaha goal in the forty-first minute, courtesy of Wickham. Crystal Palace extended the lead in the forty-seventh minute on a Bolasie goal, set up by Damien Delaney. Chancel Mbemba of Newcastle United took a yellow card for an eighty-first minute foul. Crystal Palace iced it at 5-1 with a McArthur goal in stoppage time, producing the final score.

Up north, Manchester City hosts Southampton. Maarten Stekelenburg and Willy Caballero are called on to start in goal. Manchester City started in the ninth minute on a Kevin De Bruyne goal, via Raheem Sterling. Manchester City added on with a Fabian Delph goal in the twentieth minute, helped along by De Bruyne. In the forty-ninth minute, Shane Long scored to get Southampton on the board, with the help of Sadio Mane. James Ward-Prowse of Southampton took a yellow card for his foul in the fifty-fifth minute. In the fifty-sixth minute, Manchester City had a yellow card for Martin Demichelis. Manchester City answered with a sixty-ninth minute Aleksandar Kolarov goal, guided in by De Bruyne. In stoppage time, Kolarov took a yellow card for time wasting. The final held at 3-1 for Manchester City.

Back south, Sunderland welcomes Stoke City. Jack Butland and Costel Pantilimon are the gloved men. Stoke City had yellow cards for Charlie Adam in the thirty-third minute and Ryan Shawcross in the forty-second minute, both for fouls. Stoke City went down to ten men in the forty-seventh minute as Shawcross received another yellow card for his second bad foul. In the eighty-first minute, Erik Pieters of Stoke City had a yellow card for a foul. Sunderland got going in the eighty-second minute on a Patrick van Aanholt goal, assisted by Adam Johnson. Sunderland added on in the eighty-fourth minute with a Duncan Watmore goal. The final was 2-0 for Sunderland.

Saturday ends with Leicester City bringing in Manchester United. David de Gea and Kasper Schmeichel are given the starting nods in goal. In the fourteenth minute, Ashley Young of Manchester United had a yellow card for his foul. Leicester City was first to score in the twenty-fourth minute with Jamie Vardy's goal in an eleventh straight league match, set up by Christian Fuchs. Manchester United tied it in first half stoppage time on a Bastian Schweinsteiger goal, courtesy of Daley Blind. The game ended at a 1-1 draw after an uneventful second half.

The first of four Sunday games sees Tottenham Hotspur host London rivals Chelsea. Asmir Begovic and Hugo Lloris are the veteran keepers. Tottenham Hotspur had three yellow cards in the first half, going to Danny Rose in the thirty-second minute, Harry Kane in the fortieth minute, and Kyle Walker in first half stoppage time, all for fouls. Tottenham Hotspur's Jan Vertonghen took a yellow card for his fifty-third minute foul. Chelsea took yellow cards for a Nemanja Matic foul in the fifty-ninth minute and Cesar Azpilicueta's time wasting in stoppage time. The game finished in a 0-0 draw.

Along to West Ham United welcoming West Bromwich Albion. Boaz Myhill and Adrian are the keepers. In the seventeenth minute, Mauro Zarate of West Ham United scored, and West Bromwich Albion's Jonas Olsson received a yellow card for dissent. In the fiftieth minute, West Bromwich Albion tied it as Winston Reid of West Ham United put the ball in his own net for an own goal. In the eighty-first minute, West Bromwich Albion had a yellow card go to Claudio Yacob for his foul. The game ended in a 1-1 draw. 

Up to Liverpool bringing in Swansea City. Lukasz Fabianski and Simon Mignolet are between the posts. In the twenty-fifth minute, James Milner of Liverpool took a yellow card for a foul. Milner made up for it in the sixty-second minute with his penalty kick goal to dent the scoreboard for Liverpool. In the sixty-fifth minute, Martin Srktel of Liverpool had a yellow card for a foul. Swansea City had a yellow card for a seventieth minute foul by Kyle Bartley. Liverpool's Mignolet took a yellow card for time wasting in stoppage time. The final held at 1-0 Liverpool.

Finally, Norwich City hosts Arsenal. Petr Cech and John Ruddy man the nets. Arsenal struck first in the thirtieth minute on a Mesut Ozil goal, via Alexis Sanchez. Norwich City tied it in the forty-third minute on a Lewis Grabban goal, assisted by Robbie Brady. In the fifty-fourth minute, Santiago Cazorla of Arsenal took a yellow card for his dive. Gary O'Neil of Norwich City took a yellow card for a foul in the fifty-seventh minute. The scoring had already finished, with the game ending 1-1.
