NHL 2017-18 Day 13
Just a single game today as the Detroit Red Wings host the Tampa Bay Lightning. Andrei Vasilevskiy and Jimmy Howard are the goalies. Tampa Bay struck first in the first period with a Tyler Johnson shorthanded goal, his third of the season, going in unassisted. The Lightning added on with a Nikita Kucherov power play goal, his sixth of the year, powered by Victor Hedman and Steven Stamkos. Detroit got on the board in the second period with a Justin Abdelkader goal, his second of the season, coming on a penalty shot. The Red wings tied it on a Mike Green goal, via Abdelkader and Tomas Tatar. Tampa Bay took the lead back with a Kucherov goal in the third period, his second of the game and seventh of the year, made possible by Stamkos and Vladislav Namestnikov. The final held at 3-2, with the three stars being Kucherov, Abdelkader, and Stamkos.
