Utah got going in the seventy-fourth minute with a Katie Stengel goal, set up by Taylor Lytle. This stood for a 1-0 win, with Stengel earning honors as woman of the match. Also strong for the Royals were Rachel Corsie, Christen Press, Erika Tymrak, and Lo'eau Labonta, while Washington's best were Bledsoe (six for seven in saves), Mallory Eubanks, Estelle Johnson, and Taylor Smith.
