Philadelphia saw yellow cards for Brenden Aaronson not retreating in the 11th minute and a 28th minute foul by Auston Trusty. New England led off in the 31st minute with a Brandon Bye goal, via Carles Gil. In the 33rd minute, Gil of the Revolution had a yellow card for not retreating. The Union's Haris Medunjanin received a yellow card for a 45th minute. Teal Bunbury of New England took a yellow card in the 61st minute for his foul. Kai Wagner of Philadelphia picked up a yellow card in the 65th minute for a foul. The Union tied it in the 84th minute with a Kacper Przybylko goal. This made it 1-1, the final, with the man of the match being Przybylko.
In Canada, Toronto FC welcomes Atlanta United FC. Brad Guzan and Quentin Westberg play in goal. Toronto began in the 1st minute with a Tsubasa Endon goal. Atlanta's Leandro Gonzalez Pirez received a yellow card for a foul in the 11th minute. The Five Stripes tied it in the 17th minute with a Gonzalo Martinez penalty kick goal. Atlanta pulled ahead in the 22nd minute with a Julian Gressel goal. The Reds retied it in the 27th minute with an Alejandro Pozuelo goal, set up by Jacob Shaffelburg and Liam Fraser. Toronto's Laurent Ciman had a yellow card in the 69th minute. The Reds pulled ahead with a Pozuelo penalty kick goal in stoppage time, and he was the man of the match of the 3-2 game.
Over in Quebec, the Montreal Impact bring in the Portland Timbers. Jeff Attinella and Evan Bush are the veterans in goal. Montreal opened in the 28th minute with a Orji Okwonkwo goal, via Bacary Sagna. Shamit Shome of the Impact had a yellow card for time wasting in the 32nd minute. Portland tied it in the 53rd minute with a Tomas Conechny goal, assisted by Julio Cascante and Marvin Loria. Conechny of the Timbers took a yellow card for not retreating in the 57th minute. Montreal retook the lead in the 66th minute on an Okwonkwo goal, passed from Saphir Taider. Marco Farfan of Portland picked up a yellow card for a 77th minute foul. The Impact's Victor Cabrera took a yellow card for a foul in stoppage time. The final remained at 2-1, with Okwonkwo earning man of the match honors.
Back stateside, DC United hosts Orlando City SC. Brian Rowe and Bill Hamid draw the starts in goal. DC started in the 10th minute with a long Wayne Rooney goal. Orlando City's Ruan had a yellow card for a 27th minute foul. In the 89th minute, Sacha Kljestan of the Lions took a yellow card for his foul. Lucas Rodriguez of the Black and Red received a yellow card for time wasting in the 90th minute. The final was 1-0, with Rooney being the man of the match.
Far to the south, FC Dallas welcomes the Vancouver Whitecaps FC. Zac MacMath and Jesse Gonzalez are between the sticks. Vancouver's Andy Rose took a yellow card for a handball in the 41st minute. Dallas saw yellow cards for fouls by Reto Ziegler in the 44th minute and Matt Hedges in first half stoppage time. The Toros got going in the 55th minute with a Jesus Ferreira goal, via Michael Barrios and Brandon Servania. Dallas added on in the 59th minute with a Ryan Hollingshead goal, courtesy of Servania. The Whitecaps got on the board in the 81st minute with a Yordy Reyna goal, made possible by Lucas Venuto and Jon Erice. Edwin Cerillo of the Toros received a yellow card for an 85th minute foul. Vancouver picked up yellow cards for Brett Levis' foul and MacMath's dissent in the 89th minute. The Whitecaps tied it in second half stoppage time on a Venuto goal, coming off of Rose. Vancouver saw more yellow cards for Venuto delaying the game and dissent by Ali Adnan. The final was 2-2, with Venuto tabbed as man of the match.
Finally, the San Jose Earthquakes bring in the Houston Dynamo. Joe Willis and Daniel Vega are in the six-yard boxes. Ronaldo Pena of Houston had a yellow card for a 17th minute foul. San Jose struck first in the 22nd minute with a Valeri Qazaishvili goal, assisted by Magnus Eriksson and Cristian Espinoza. The Dynamo's AJ DeLaGarza took a yellow card for a 57th minute foul. The Earthquakes added on in the 75th minute with a Qazaishvili goal. San Jose's Guram Kashia had a yellow card for a 77th minute foul. Tommy McNamara of Houston picked up a yellow card for a foul in stoppage time. The final remained at 2-0 with the man of the match being Qazaishvili.
