The grand finale of the MLS season is here, with the Seattle Sounders FC hosting Toronto FC. Quentin Westberg and Stefan Frei are the gloved men. Seattle got going in the 57th minute with a Kelvin Leerdam goal, via Raul Ruidiaz. Alejandro Pozuelo of Toronto took a yellow card for a 72nd minute foul. The Sounders added on with a Victor Rodriguez goal, set up by Nicolas Lodeiro and Gustav Svensson in the 76th minute. Seattle extended the lead as Ruidiaz scored in the 90th minute, thanks to Svensson. He received a yellow card for celebration. The Reds got on the board in stoppage time with a Jozy Altidore goal, courtesy of Pozuelo. This only made it 3-1, with Rodriguez named MLS Cup MVP as the Sounders lifted their second championship trophy.
