The Rangers added on with a Chris Kreider power play goal, his tenth of the playoffs, via Zibanejad and Panarin. Tampa Bay got on the board with a Nikita Kucherov power play goal, his sixth of the postseason, with assists provided by Victor Hedman and Steven Stamkos. The Lightning tied it in the third period with a Stamkos power play goal, his sixth of the playoffs, coming off of Corey Perry and Kucherov. Tampa Bay pulled ahead on an Ondrej Palat goal, his sixth of the postseason, fueled by Kucherov and Hedman. This stood for a 3-2 win, with the three stars going to Kucherov, Stamkos, and Zibanejad, while Hedman and Panarin get the honorable mentions. The Rangers have a 2-1 series lead despite this loss.
