The Lightning added on in the second period with a Nikita Kucherov goal, his seventh of the playoffs, assisted by Ondrej Palat and Jan Rutta. Tampa Bay extended the lead in the third period as Steven Stamkos scored his seventh of the postseason, thanks to Palat and Rutta. New York got on the board with an Artemi Panarin power play goal, his sixth of the playoffs, powered by Andrew Copp and Adam Fox. The Lightning iced it at 4-1 with a Palat empty net goal, his seventh of the postseason, going in unassisted. The three stars were Palat, Rutta, and Vasilevskiy (33 for 34 in saves). The series is tied at 2-2 going back to New York.
