Carolina tied it on a Martin Necas power play goal, his eighth of the year, powered by Brady Skjei and Jack Drury. The Hurricanes took the lead in the second period with a Sebastian Aho power play goal, his ninth of the season, with assists provided by Tony DeAngelo and Teuvo Teravainen. The Kraken added on with a Bellemare goal in the third period, his third of the year, via Ryker Evans and Yamamoto. Seattle extended the lead as Alexander Wennberg scored his fourth of the season, thanks to Borgen and Tye Kartye. The Kraken padded the lead on an empty net goal by Eeli Tolvanen, his seventh of the year, set up by Vince Dunn.
