More teams are clinching the fantasy playoff berths available in their leagues. My teams look like feast or famine this year, so I don't have many that need good weeks from anyone at this point. Here's who played well last week.
Batters: Ryan Braun, Rickie Weeks, Carlos Gomez, Pedro Alvarez, Josh Reddick, Tyler Colvin, Mark Reynolds, Adrian Beltre, Aramis Ramirez, Chris Heisey. (honorable mention to Torii Hunter's strong week)
Pitchers: Hisashi Iwakuma, Brett Anderson, John Axford, Samuel Deduno, Marco Estrada, Joe Nathan, Max Scherzer, Kris Medlen, Edwin Jackson, Ricky Nolasco.
My views on hockey and soccer primarily, without any of the advantage of big-name insider connections.
