Sky Blue pulled closer in the sixty-eighth minute with another Kerr goal, coming off of Daphne Corboz. Sky Blue tied it as Kerr completed her hat trick, thanks to Sarah Killion. Sky Blue's Maya Hayes had a yellow card for an eighty-first minute foul. The Reign regained the lead on a Kiersten Dallstream goal in the eighty-fifth minute. Sky Blue pulled even again in stoppage time on a Hayes goal, made possible by Domi Richardson. Sky Blue took the lead after Kerr missed a penalty kick, but on the ensuing corner kick, Kerr converted the service from Taylor Lytle.
