The Hurricanes added on with an Andrei Svechnikov empty net goal, his fourteenth of the year, set up by Brock McGinn and Brett Pesce. Carolina iced it at 3-0 with a McGinn empty net goal, his sixth of the campaign, with a lone assist by Pesce.
