MLS 2019 - Midweek April 9-10

Montreal had yellow cards for a Shamit Shome foul in the 49th minute and dissent by Saphir Taider in the 62nd minute. The Galaxy added on in the 71st minute with an Ibrahimovic goal, set up by Rolf Feltscher. Three games on for the penultimate day of the regular season. We begin with...

New York got going in the second period with a Chris Kreider goal, his twenty-eighth of the season, with a lone assist by Mika Zibanejad. Columbus tied it in the third period with a Ryan Dzingel goal, his twenty-sixth of the year, passed from Nick Foligno and David Savard. The Blue Jackets took the lead on an Artemi Panarin goal, his twenty-eighth of the season, helped along by Savard. The Rangers tied it again with a Pavel Buchnevich goal, his twenty-first of the year, guided in by Zibanejad and Ryan Strome. The tie went to a shootout, where Panarin's lone tally gave the Blue Jackets a 3-2 win. The three stars were Panarin, Savard, and Zibanejad.
