This week, we lead off in Minnesota as the Vikings host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tampa Bay led off with a Connor Barth field goal of 28 yards. The Buccaneers added on as Josh Freeman passed 1 yard to Erik Lorig, and Barth made the extra point. Tampa Bay kept going in the second quarter as Barth was true on a 40 yard field goal. Minnesota got on the board as Christian Ponder passed 18 yards to Percy Harvin for a touchdown, and Blair Walsh tacked on the extra point. The Buccaneers shot back with Freeman passing 3 yards to Mike Williams for a touchdown, and Barth handled the PAT. The Vikings took some back as Walsh was true from 51 yards on a field goal. Tampa Bay replied in the third quarter as Freeman passed to Doug Martin for 64 yards for a touchdown, and Barth knocked in the extra point. The Buccaneers extended the lead as Barth booted a 38 yard field goal. Minnesota answered as Adrian Peterson busted out for a 64 yard touchdown run of his own, and Walsh was there with the extra point. Tampa Bay struck again in the fourth quarter as Martin ran 1 yard for a touchdown, but they failed on their two-point attempt. This produced a 36-17 final, with the Buccaneers moving to 3-4 and the Vikings dropping to 5-3.
