In MLS, the conference semifinals and finals are played in two game,
aggregate goal sets, with a road goals tiebreakers. Here is the Eastern
Conference Semifinal.
In Harrison, New Jersey, the goalies are Luis Robles for New York and Bill Hamid for DC. The Red Bulls saw another booking on a yellow card for Wright-Phillips' foul. United took the lead with a stoppage time goal by Steve Birnbaum and DeLeon. DC's Espindola received a straight red card for a fight after the match concluded with a 2-1 score. DeLeon was the man of the match. The Red Bulls won the series on aggregate 3-2.
